KAREN CALLAWAY WILLIAMS is a trailblazing and award-winning tap artist and Broadway veteran from the Tony-nominated musical Play On! to Riverdance - The Show and Riverdance on Broadway. A graduate of Spelman College and alumna of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, she is a charter member and the first Dance Captain of the New Jersey Tap Ensemble, celebrating 30 years with the company. Her extensive performance history includes soloing with many Symphony Orchestras and performing in 38 states and 13 countries. Featured in the documentary Been Rich All My Life, Karen serves as the Artistic Director of the Second-Generation Silver Belles, honoring the legacy of 1930s chorus girls.
